Ikoyi Club 1938 Donates Food Items to Nigerian Correctional Centers
On Wednesday, April 24, 2024, Ikoyi Club 1938 made a generous donation of food items to the Nigerian Maximum and Medium Security Correctional Centers located in Kirikiri.
The Deputy Controller of Prisons, Mr. Benson Michael Anugwu, graciously accepted the donation on behalf of the inmates. In his address, he expressed heartfelt gratitude and conveyed the inmates’ appreciation to Ikoyi Club 1938 for remembering those who are incarcerated.
Representatives from Ikoyi Club 1938 included Mr. Felix Akinboboye (Chief Security Officer), Mr. Ojo Olumuyiwa (Entertainment Officer), Mr. Lucky Usifo, Mr. Mathew Ebinum, and Miss Eniola Afolayan (Public Relations Officer).
The donated food items consisted of:
- 10 bags of rice
- 10 bags of garri
- 8 bags of beans
- 4 kegs (25 liters each) of palm oil
