Ikoyi Club 1938 donated N605,000 to Ishahayi Beach School for School Uniforms, Foodstuff for one year, classrooms supplies and White Boards.
Ishahayi Beach School Foundation was established by expatriates in 2005 to support educational opportunities for Nigerian children living in remote fishing villages and surrounding areas.
Through fundraising efforts and the generosity of the expatriate community, IBSF has been able to construct two small school buildings, the newest of which has allowed students to continue their education beyond grade six. Additional projects, such as sustainable gardening, sewing, as well as textbooks and other supplies are provided by the board as resources to enhance learning.
