Ikoyi Club 1938 Welcomes New Members in Style

Yesterday, December 10th, 2024, Ikoyi Club 1938 hosted an exclusive New Members' Night, marking a significant milestone for the esteemed institution. The event, held during the festive Christmas season, drew a high-powered assembly of distinguished individuals. Chairman Tafa Zibir-aliu warmly welcomed the incoming members, expressing his delight at their decision to join the prestigious club. He took the opportunity to showcase the club's impressive facilities, highlighting the eight sporting centers available to members. The Chairman also acknowledged the exclusivity of the new members' induction, noting that they were among the select few chosen from a pool of 3,000 to 4,000 applicants. This distinction underscores the club's commitment to maintaining its high standards and select membership. During the event, the Chairman extended a special welcome to the Governing Council (GC) members in attendance, including Trustees Okupe, Vice Chairman Mr. Ladipo, Honorary Secretary Mr. Toyin Leo, Honorary Treasurer Mr. Olalere Babasola, and other esteemed GC members. The new members were reminded of the importance of adhering to the club's rules and regulations, as outlined in the club's rule book.
