“Celebrating New Beginnings at Ikoyi Club 1938!”

On June 11, 2024, Ikoyi Club 1938 hosted its New Members’ Night, a prestigious event that welcomed the club’s newest members. Under the chairmanship of Mr. Tafa Zibri-Alliu, the evening was filled with camaraderie, celebration, and a sense of belonging.   The event brought together both the members of the general committee and the temporary members who were transitioning to become Ordinary members of the club. As they gathered at the club’s elegant venue, they shared stories, forged connections, and celebrated their shared membership in this historic institution. Ikoyi Club 1938, founded in 1938, occupies an impressive 456-acre area of land and provides top-notch facilities for approximately 10,000 members¹. From sports sections like badminton, squash, table tennis, and swimming to social events and community initiatives, the club fosters a sense of global harmony through recreation. Whether on the golf course, in the library, or at the various social gatherings, Ikoyi Club 1938 continues to be a vibrant hub for its members.
