The election into the Swimming Section Committee was held on Monday 13th
February, 2017. Total number of members that turn out for the election was 515.
The elected and coopted members of the Committee are as follow:

2:00 Recognition of the Outstanding Performance
Plaques were presented for the recognition of the outstanding performance of the Swimming Technical Sub-Committee and the immediate past Committee headed by Mr. Sugun Adekoya 2015/2016.
Plaque was also presented to the family of Late Dr. Monu and Late Mrs. Masha for their contribution toward the development swimming.
1:02 African Junior Swimming Championship, in Cairo Egypt.
Most recently, 2 of our swimmers, Tosan Obatoyinbo and Kitan Adeniji have been selected to represent Nigeria in the African Junior Swimming Championship, in Cairo Egypt March 28 – 31 st , 2017. They are currently in Egypt for the competition.

2:01 International Swimming Competition in Germany 2017
The “46 th International Pfingstschwimmfest” tournament organized by the SV
Neptun Husten in Germany will hold from 2 nd to the 4 th of June, 2017. The event is
an annual event for children between the ages of 9 to 18 (Male and Female).
The Club’s swimming squad has been participating in the competition since the
year 2000
The intensive training and short-listing of participants has commenced since
January, 2017 both at the club’s own competition pool and at the 50 meter pool
at Teslim Balogun, Stadium Surulere (Saturdays and holidays’ only).
2:02 TGIF
The Committee is planning to stage TGIF to celebrate the birthday of section’s members in the month of May, 2017
